How we work

Listen: We invest the time and energy to have a rigorous understanding of the Client, assignment brief, company culture and relationships. We take the time to fully understand the need of the client and get that each assignment is unique, deliverables vary, cultures and values differ and each assignment brings its own set of challenges. We go into discussions with an open mind, without preconceived ideas, taking information on board before offering advice.

Interim Vetting: We only work with professional interim managers and follow a strict vetting process with new candidates. Only the Managing Director can vet potential new interim managers for our network and conducts a detailed meeting to validate suitability. After many years, we know what questions to ask to assess suitability.

Interim Selection: We have cultivated a network of vetted interim managers that we trust to deliver with the track-record that underpins our confidence within them. We fully research interim managers for best fit and match the interim that is best suited for the project and the culture of the company. We interview and select on merit and ability and move quickly as response times matter and when it comes to recruiting interim roles.

Interim Assignment: Once the client concludes the interview process and selects an interim manager to commence the assignment, we manage the contractual detail with both parties and ensure the contractual agreement falls outside of IR35 rules. The interim manager will work through their own Limited company with appropriate insurance and will present a Service Contract.

During Assignment: We keep in regular contact with the Interim manager throughout the assignment and remain on hand to discuss progress and ensure they feel supported. Likewise, we remain in constant contact with the Client to the point where the assignment end-point is reached.

Assignment Audit: Once the assignment has been completed an end of assignment audit and review meeting is held with both the Client and Interim manager to sign-off the engagement. Learnings are discussed and we seek to use knowledge learnt to improve our service and the experience for both Client and Interim manager.
